Bell's Hopslam Clone All-Grain
Bell's Brewery is starting to put out extract and all-grain clone kits of beers they make. I was one of the lucky ones to get an All-Grain Hopslam kit.
Here is the recipe:
10 LBS 2-Row
5 LBS Pale Ale Malt
.5 LBS Caramel 40L
12 oz Honey (15 mins)
5oz Corn Sugar (Dextrose) (15 mins)
.5 oz Crystal Hops (45 mins)
.5 oz Mosaic Hops (20 mins)
.5 oz Clacier Hops (20 mins)
1 oz Centennial Hops (15 mins)
.5 oz Mosaic Hops (5 mins)
.5 oz Glacier Hops (5 mins)
2 oz Amarillo Hops (Flameout)
.5 oz Crystal Hops (Flameout)
4 oz Simcoe Hops (Dry Hop)
Mash @150 for 45 mins. After the 45 mins take temp up to 170 with 2 gallons of water. This should take about 15 mins. Once at 170 rest for 10. Total mash time is 70 mins. Sparge with 175 deg water to collect 6.5 gallons
Boil time 75 mins
Pre-boil Gravity should be 1.058
Original Gravity should be 1.086
Final Gravity should be 1.010
