Citra Amarillo Jester

I picked up the Anvil Foundry and wanted to test it out so I took 11 LBS of 2-Row and 1 LB of Venia malt and added Citra and Amarillo hops in the boil. Once it was cold down I split it into 5 1 gallon batches and dry hopped with 5 different hops. This one is using Jester hops

Recipe

11 LBS 2-Row

1 oz Citra 15 mins

1 oz Amarillo 10 mins

1 oz Citra 5 mins

US-05 Yeast

.25 oz Jester 3 days into fermentation

Color: Bright yellow. Some haze

Smell: Less smell in this one. Black current like a sour tart

Taste: Juicy fruit with a hint of citrus. Pineapple

Overall: Good beer overall. We will see if that pineapple stays around or goes away.

Final Tasting

Color: Bright Yellow Clear

Smell: Low tropical fruit hint of citrus

Taste: Lemon tart fruit. Lime lemon bitterness in the after taste.

Overall: I was thinking the smell would be more. Im not sure why Im getting lemon out of the beers. Maybe as the citra ages its turning into lemon. I think Jester did the best in this one as it got older. I also get a little more malt in this one vs the others
